SINNE EEG
One Show at 7pmAll Ages
Sinne Eeg (sée-neh/ée)
Born in Lemvig, Denmark, jazz singer Sinne Eeg graduated from the Music Conservatory of West Jutland in 2003, and subsequently studied with American jazz singers Janet Lawson and Jay Clayton in New York City. “I learned a lot from studying music intensively at the music conservatory,” she explained. “But I think a lot of my musicality comes from my childhood and teenage years where I was exposed to so much music and great music teachers. Jazz was a big part of my upbringing. I played in several local big bands (alto saxophone) when I was a teenager, and I learned a lot about the structures and phrasing of the music.”
During her musical upbringing, Eeg gravitated toward singers with lower, richer voices, like Julie London, Sarah Vaughan, Carmen McRae, Cassandra Wilson and Dianne Reeves. “Of course I studied all the great traditional jazz singers like Billie, Ella, Carmen, Anita and Sarah at the conservatory,” she said. “But it was also nice to have someone contemporary to look up to like Cassandra and Dianne, who respected the tradition of jazz singing but also had a fresh approach to it.” She recalled a seminal gig as a professional singer that helped launch her career. “It was a three-month engagement in Shanghai. They flew the whole band over from Denmark to play at The House Of Blues And Jazz six nights a week. During those three months I learned so much about performing in front of an audience and working with a band.”
After putting in her time for years on the road, performing at small clubs and cafes, Sinne won her first Danish Music Award for her album “Waiting For Dawn” in 2007. Her dark vocals and modern interpretation of Nordic jazz touched audiences all over Europe and Asia. Since then, Sinne has released several prize-winning albums, including her solo album “Dreams” from 2018, recorded in New York City with Scott Colley, Joey Baron, Larry Koonse and Jacob Christoffersen.
In early 2020 Sinne released one of her biggest projects ever: “We’ve Just Begun”, a winning collaboration with the 19-piece Danish Radio Big Band and her 9th album overall. The record was produced by André Fischer (Diane Schuur, Nina Simone, Natalie Cole) and mixed at the acclaimed Capitol Studios in Los Angeles by the legendary Al Schmitt (Frank Sinatra, Miles Davis, Ray Charles). The album has received countless international rave reviews, hovered high for many weeks on the American JazzWeek Top 50 chart, and continues to enjoy frequent airplay in all radio markets.
Sinne has many loyal fans in the US, Scandinavia and Asia, especially China and Japan. She is poised for a major breakthrough in the US, where she regularly tours. She has performed with American jazz icons including Larry Goldings, Peter Erskine and Ken Peplowski; and at storied jazz clubs including Green Mill in Chicago and Birdland in New York.
The Danish songstress is versatile, equally comfortable fronting big orchestras in concert halls as well as smaller ensembles in intimate jazz clubs. Everywhere she sings – Tokyo, Copenhagen, Los Angeles or Madrid – audiences are mesmerized by her incandescent phrasing and scatting, all with natural, perfect pitch.
Sinne Eeg is not only a brilliant vocalist; she is also a great songwriter. Her talent for writing and composing won the prestigious Danish Carl Prize 2018 for Song Of The Year, “Aleppo”, included on her album “Dreams”. Sinne has received numerous accolades, including four Danish Music Awards, the Danish Radio P2 Jazz Prize, the Ben Webster Prize, the French Prix Du Jazz and Queen Ingrid’s Honorary Grant, personally awarded by Queen Margrethe of Denmark.

VINCENT INGALA
Shows at 7 & 9pmAll Ages
Declared by Jazziz Magazine as “one of the most exciting artists to emerge this past decade,” Vincent Ingala remains an unstoppable and ever-adventurous creative force in urban contemporary jazz, with a total of nine #1 Billboard hits, twenty-two Top 10 singles and more to come from his latest release and 8th studio album, Escape With Me on Shanachie Entertainment.
Upon exploding onto the scene in 2010 with his independent, critically acclaimed debut album North End Soul at the age of 17, Vincent was already a seasoned performer, developing somewhat of a cult following in his home state of Connecticut during his high school years with his compelling one man show. That fan base grew exponentially across the U.S. – and in Europe, thanks to supportive on-line outlets – with his breakthrough single and Top 15 Billboard track “It Is What It Is.”
Eleven years after the first time he earned Billboard’s designation as Smooth Jazz Artist of the Year, the saxophonist, multi-instrumentalist, composer, producer and long-beloved entertainer achieved this accolade again in 2023 upon the success of his hit singles “Ridin’ the Wave” and “Shadow Dancer,” the latter of which stayed at #1 on the Smooth Jazz Airplay chart for three weeks.
Vincent’s unique dual ability to electrify fans while connecting emotionally with them has made him one of the genre’s most popular touring artists. He draws the audience in and makes them part of an exciting musical experience that bridges the gap between the music of his father’s R&B, funk and soul collection (which Vincent grew up heavily immersed in) and Vincent’s own crisp grooves, well executed horn lines and horn-drenched melodies. Just as he plays every instrument on his self-produced albums, he fronts his explosive band by providing the audience with a well blended show of sax, guitar, drums and vocals.
The in-demand recording artist continues to make his mark with a signature music blend of energetic smooth jazz grooves, infused with soulful, old-school retro vibes. His versatility on multiple instruments makes him sought after both live and as a producer in the studio.
All GA sections (Main Floor GA & Miles Davis Mezzanine) will be seated by host and are first come, first served (other than where a reserved sign is posted to table). If you require special seating, please call the venue for accommodations no later than 48 hours prior to show date. Please note: If you do not purchase all seats at a table, other customers may be seated with you.

SIMON PHILLIPS PROTOCOL
Shows at 7 & 9pmAll Ages
Jazz. Rock. Jazz-rock. Across more than four decades, legendary drummer Simon Phillips has shown an uncanny ability to excel in most any musical environment. Precision, intensity and emotion are hallmarks of Simon’s sound in every setting. And working with many of the world’s most prominent musicians from an early age, he has repeatedly made his mark through scores of historic recordings and tours around the globe. By his twenties, Simon had already worked with iconic figures including Jeff Beck, Jack Bruce, Pete Townshend, Al Di Meola, Jon Anderson, Jan Hammer, Stanley Clarke, Jon Lord, Mike Oldfield, Brian Eno and others. Several of these artists had been important pioneers of the jazz-rock genre in the early and mid-1970s, also called fusion. High-profile recordings and/or tours were soon to come with the likes of Mick Jagger, Asia, The Who, Gary Moore, Joe Satriani and many more. But it was the untimely death of drummer Jeff Porcaro that led to Simon’s 21-year presence in Toto (1992-2014), highlighted by ten albums and numerous world tours. During this period Phillips also worked on various projects led by Steve Lukather, Michael Schenker, Derek Sherinian and others. More squarely within the realm of the jazz world, Simon worked in a trio led by virtuoso pianist Hiromi along with electric bassist Anthony Jackson (Chick Corea). This rich association lasted seven years, producing five albums from 2011-16 and touring extensively. During this period Phillips also performed in a jazz-rock trio with French keyboardist Philippe Saisse (Al Di Meola) and electric bassist Pino Palladino (Steve Gadd), under the group name PSP. Listeners can discern the influence of many great drummers in Simon’s sound, not the least of which is ‘70s-era Tony Williams. According to Simon, “I was introduced to Tony by Jack Bruce back in 1977. His 1975 album, Believe It, is still one of my favorites. While the first Protocol release was in 1989, Simon’s compositions really began to gel with the Protocol II album in 2013. This release brought together high-profile rock guitarist Andy Timmons with jazz-funk keyboardist Steve Weingart (Dave Weckl) and electric bassist Ernest Tibbs (Allan Holdsworth). Protocol II firmly established Simon’s new lineup as one of the truly great bands in jazz-rock history. The same lineup appeared on Protocol III in 2015. Ernest Tibbs continued in the bass chair for the release of Protocol IV in 2017, but this record featured a major league rock session guitarist named Greg Howe (Michael Jackson) along with the dynamic young keyboardist Dennis Hamm (Thundercat). Still utilizing the quartet format, Protocol IV presents Simon’s strongest compositions yet — and it was nominated for a GRAMMY Award in the Contemporary Instrumental Album category. Simon toured extensively as leader in 2019, celebrating Protocol’s 30th Anniversary and playing tunes from each of the previous albums. However, the lineup was tweaked once again, this time to become a quintet, including veteran keyboardist Otmaro Ruiz (John McLaughlin), Jacob Scesney on saxophones and the brilliant young guitarist Alex Sill. 2022 sees the release of Protocol V. The band features Ernest Tibbs (bass), Otmaro Ruiz (keys), Jacob Scesney (horns) and Alex Sill (guitar) and is a high energy driven collection of tunes with that Simon Phillips signature we’ve come to expect from the Protocol legacy
