Finally we have arrived! It’s that time of the year; the sun is shining, the trees are full of green and Boston is in full bloom, reminding us why we put up with the snow, sleet, rain, high housing prices and taxes, ahh….Summer-just about here!!!!

At Scullers, this is the time of year we get ready for a little R&R and this year I am truly excited for some summer fun. First, Fred and I will take off to the Montreal Jazz Festival and then I get back in Boston just in time to catch a flight with Luba to Copenhagen our embarkation point for the North Sea Jazz Cruise hosted by Marcus Miller. We look forward to seeing quite a few Bostonians (and Scullers regulars) on board who through our partnership with Jazz Cruises LLC will be joining us on this maiden voyage.

Normally we are incommunicado during the hiatus however because of our new blog we will be reporting back from both the Montreal Jazz Festival and the North Sea Jazz Cruise and look for guest bloggers! I am going to see what performers I can put my laptop in front and get some perspective from the artist themselves while we are in the midst of these trips.
